EXPRESSION IN OIL PAINTING

There's more to have something to say than just opening your mouth and talking. There are ways to express yourself through art or poerty, or dancing. I like to express myself by Oil Painting. I Have been painting most of my adult life and teaching since 1997. I'm a certified Instructor of both Bob Ross and Wm Alexander. I have appeared on T.V.(PBS) and have taught all over United States.

PAINTING TIP STILL LIFE
|
If you enjoy painting still life subjects, there are some general concepts that can help you succeed. Avoid placing a single object directly in the center of the canvas. More importantly, place the various object in different planes of depth and visual interest that goes well beyond what a flat linear composition would accomplish. Painting still life subjects allow you to experiment with composition. You can quickly rearrange objects until you come up with a composition that is pleasing, than begin painting
